Low Floor, High Ceiling; Everyone Find a Spot
Does every blog post need to tell a story? I hope not.
My day one plan is to get the kids working on the Four 4s task. Shout out to Jo Boaler's youcubed.org.
Kids are going to be in groups. This is already radical for me on Day 1.
Expectations for behavior will roughly follow Fawn Nguyen's advice.
My goals for the kids are: struggling with the task, sharing your understanding with others, working productively with others, getting comfortable with making mistakes.
My goal for myself is to make sure EVERYONE is involved. It starts today and it ends in about 180 days.
